Pointbreak's business consists of Wealth Management and Investment Management, the latter including Private Equity, Money Market and Private Property as core services.

Money Market

Our Money Market Unit Trusts comprise the Pointbreak Money Market Unit Trust and the Pointbreak Institutional Money Fund, with approximately N$1.7bn in assets under management.

Private Equity

Regarding Private Equity, Pointbreak closed its first fund during 2003 at an annualised return of 58%. We are also proud of Stimulus, managed by Pointbreak, the forerunner of private equity in Namibia with investments such as Cymot, Plastic Packaging, Nashua, Joes Beerhouse and Walvis Bay Stevedoring. Assets under management amount to N$250m.

Private Property

Private Property offers investment opportunities into premium quality commercial properties in the Western Cape, with recent investments including Century City (1) Swellen Mark, Techno Park (3), The Vineyard Office Estate (2) and Parklands Junction.

Wealth Management

Wealth Management offers financial and retirement planning; trusts, wills and estate services; short term insurance broking; investment advice and money market and financial transaction services. Assets under administration amount to N$2.5bn.
